Sanibel Captiva Community Bank has signed on as the official “Cajun King” sponsor for the Community Housing and Resources (CHR) 2017 Mardi Gras event. The bank has been a long-time supporter of CHR, and this top-level sponsorship is a significant increase from the bank’s support of the event in previous years. “We are happy to be CHR’s bank and mortgage lender, and have done financing for CHR’s clients purchasing homes through the program. We have always wanted to show our support of what they are doing here on the island,” says Craig Albert, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank President and CEO. “We have quite a few employees who live in CHR’s housing as both renters and homeowners, and we love seeing the families living on Sanibel that might not otherwise be able to without CHR’s program. The children get to attend the school here, use the recreation center, and just really become part of our community.”

CHR’s 5th Annual Mardi Gras event is scheduled for February 11th at the Dunes Golf and Tennis Club.
