Through a unique partnership with Lowe’s Home Improvement, CHR is excited to introduce our Homes of Love campaign, a tangible giving opportunity for our supporters to directly give back and make an impact in our most critical units in need of complete rehabilitation.

Currently, multiple CHR units are down to the studs, in need of exhaustive and comprehensive rehabilitation from water damage in order to get them back in condition to return them to the supply of affordable houses on Sanibel, which is critical for the full-time workers, families, seniors and disabled residents that rely on CHR’s program.

The cost to rehabilitate each unit is approximately $20,000 and includes every last item to take these units that are currently studs and concrete and return them to true Homes of Love for our deserving residents. When you partner together with a group of colleagues, friends, family, or neighbors, your combined dollars make an even larger impact.

You can sponsor an entire home, you can sponsor an entire room, or you can purchase individual items such as flooring, appliances, fixtures and more. Every single dollar provides an immediate, tangible, and crucial building block in our Homes of Love.
