ABOUT “JUNO”

“My inspiration comes from the Junonia, the most coveted shell on the islands,” says Kym. “It’s beauty is always spectacular, especially if you are lucky enough to find one on Sanibel!” Notice that the manatee is holding a special butterfly, one that shares its name, Juno!

ABOUT KYM

Kym is an artist/designer who has been working on Sanibel and Captiva for 17 years. She loves the islands and has lent her talents and efforts to many local charities and community causes during her time here.

Kym received her BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. In her spare time she enjoys restoring her house, spending time with her friends and family, and traveling.
