CHR Rental Units

Airport Way was built in 1992 and is made up of 12 duplex style units. These 12 units are broken out into eight 2-bedroom/1 bathroom units with 820 square feet and four 3-bedroom/2 bathroom units with 920 square feet. These units are located off of Casa Ybel Road.

Algiers Lane was acquired by CHR in 2009 from the City of Sanibel. It is a 1-bedroom/1 bathroom single family unit with 600 square feet. This unit is located in Gulfside City Park Beach.

Beach Road was built in 1987 and is made up of 5 units, four are duplex style and one is a stand-alone single family unit. These units are broken out into rental and Limited Equity Ownership units. The one rental unit is a 2-bedroom/1 bathroom unit with 990 square feet. The four Limited Equity Ownership units are made up of 1 and 2 bedroom units. These units are located at the East end of the Island, on Beach Road.

Casa Mariposa was built in 2000 and is made up of twelve 2-bedroom/1 bathroom units for residents who are 62 years of age or older. These units are 812 square feet and are located on Periwinkle Way.

Centre Place was built in 2009/2010 and is made up of 14 duplex style units. These 14 units are broken out into rental and Limited Equity Ownership units. The total number of rental units is six. These six units are a combination of 2-bedroom/2 bathrooms with 1068 square feet and 3- bedroom/2 bathroom units with 1460 square feet. The total number of Limited Equity Ownership units is eight. These eight units are a combination of 2-bedroom/2 bathrooms with 1068 square feet and 3-bedroom/2 bathroom units with 1460 square feet. These units are located off of Main Street behind Billy’s Bike Rentals.

Mahogany Way was built in 1992 and is made up of 14 duplex style units. These 14 units are made up of 2-bedroom/1 bathroom units with twelve of them at 720 square feet. The other two units are handicap accessible and are 894 square feet. These units are located off of Wooster Lane.

Rabbit Road is a private duplex where CHR has one resident who rents privately from the owner. This unit is unique in that CHR only re-certifies this resident to determine they are still income eligible for the rental program. The resident has a lease directly with the owner and pays the owner directly. This unit is a 2-bedroom/1 bathroom that was built in 1990.

Riverview was purchased by CHR in 2008 and is made up of 10 units. These 10 units are broken out into four studio units with 352 square feet and six 1-bedroom/1 bathroom units with 420 square feet. These units are located at 1517 Periwinkle Way.

Sanibel Highlands was built in 1990 and is made up of 3 units, one duplex and one single family unit. These 3 units are broken out into one rental unit and two Limited Equity Ownership units. The one rental unit is a 3-bedroom/2 bathroom unit with 1356 square feet. The two Limited Equity Ownership units are each 2-bedroom/ 2 bathroom. These units are located on Whitehall Road.

Woodhaven was built in 2005 and is made up of 12 units that are each 2-bedroom/1 bathroom. These units are 810 square feet and are located on Casa Ybel Road.

Wooster (Lake Palms) is a community of private condos that was built in 1987. CHR owns 4 duplex style units in this condo complex. They are comprised of 1-bedroom/1 bathroom units that are each 498 square feet. These units are located on Wooster Lane.
